Where did it get its name from? Well, at the beginning of the 19th century, this was where Polonia printing house was housed, whose presses printed, for instance, local newspapers and books, including guidebooks for the Tatra region. Today, it is home for Drukarnia Smaku, which is where culinary artworks are created. Its industrial interior with metal and copper accessories, comfortable seats and an open kitchen make this place stand out from the ‘inn-style’ of many restaurants in Krupówki, Zakopane’s main strip. But the real difference can be seen in the menu – it offers original Polish cuisine with international accents, based on unique products: quality meats, fish, regional cheeses, pickles and marinades. PSST! Wines from an impressive selection and beers, served also in tasting sets, will make for a nice addition to their extraordinary dishes.
