First steak house in Kraków, and already enjoying cult status, it was founded by Adam Chrząstowski, one of the best chefs in Poland. Ed Red is located in a historical tenement house near the Market Square and takes up several rooms, each arranged in a different style. The restaurant has a cold storage room where the beef is matured, while the grills in their semi-open kitchen are loud with the crackle of huge slabs of meat, which are then served up on crude boards. Steaks definitely play the first fiddle in Ed Red. They come in three different cuts and degrees of how well the meat is done. Don’t miss out on additional attractions: delicious veal offal served in five ways and bull testicles in smoked white chocolate sauce. PSST! The wine list was created by Adam Pawłowski, first Polish Master Sommelier.
