Euskadi means Basque Country. You can find its culinary embassy in a cosy restaurant near the Podgórski Square. In the modern interior, you can try pintxos, that is Basque tapas, which are typical for the Iberian peninsula. With the sound of mood music, accompanied by Spanish wine and beer (although the restaurant also serves wines from vineyards in the Kraków area), you can enjoy the dishes made from pig of Iberian breed, which feeds on acorns and herbs and try jam?n serrano which ages for 18-months, or olives and fresh seafood with soft-shell crab at the fore. Their desserts are addictive – you can come across chocolate and orange mousse which melts in your mouth or home-made ice-cream. PSST! The restaurant is tiny, so bookings are highly recommended.
