The inconspicuous little house in Laskowa, though a bit off the beaten path, def¬initely merits a visit. Few beautifully covered tables, linen tablecloths supplied by a local artisan, bar stocked with a bevy of regional beverages. The place is run by a couple afflicted with a welcome fix¬ation on the concept of Slow Food. They cultivate herbs, breed geese and per¬sonally look after the quality of each product. Cuisine here is mostly Polish, with some influences from Europe, mostly France. The menu changes frequently. Indeed, you may visit Gęś during the crawfish season and find them swimming in your essential bouillabaisse. Or you might just catch a fresh trout, straight from an Ojców creek. Regardless of what ends up on your plate, expect it to be delicious! PSST! Make sure the restaurant is open on the day you plan to visit and make a reservation.
