Although this enchanting, spacious and elegant restaurant is located at Krupówki, it doesn’t suffer from the usual tourist hubbub. Huge windows offer a fantastic view of the Tatra Mountains. The interior’s decor is very consistent. Highlander-style furniture made by local artisans, white tablecloths and classic tableware, combined with traditional music played in softer than usual tones, all blend seamlessly into a perfect backdrop for the dishes on offer. They use carefully selected ingredients, mostly sourced from local suppliers, and combine them into creative dishes, which, despite having a modern look, remain rooted in the culinary traditions of Poland and Podhale. On the menu you’ll find beef, lamb, game and fish. There’s also no shortage of grilled oscypeks or large placki ziemniaczane with goulash (‘placek zbójecki’). PSST! There’s a patisserie on the ground floor. Sweet treats are also available to go.
