It’s located in former military barracks, since converted into lofts. The interior’s decor is sparing and natural, in line with the Nordic style of design. Yet, it is also cosy, owing to the inclusion of wood, flowers, high-quality ornaments made of grey fabric and wool as well as their beautiful and simple ceramic. The chef’s dishes inspired by Scandinavian cuisine perfectly complement the venue. Apart from some classics, like herring (superb smoked bloaters) and smørrebrød sandwiches, the menu offers international dishes, but with a clearly felt ‘Nordic’ twist. They are meticulously composed, beautiful and very tasty – could this be the taste of hygge? PSST! Their kladdkaka is one of the best chocolate desserts in the world. No chocolate fan can miss it!
