Nolio is located in a tenement house in the very heart of Kazimierz. The simple and minimalist interior of this restaurant looks nothing like an Italian trattoria. It’s dominated by black colour tempered by wooden elements. Don’t let it deceive you, though. The menu is abundant with Italian delicacies. A large part of ingredients is imported from Italy. Olive comes from the Olio Anfosso farm, San Marzano tomatoes from the foothills of Vesuvius and pistachios from Bronte. Their delicious pastas are made on-site and Neapolitan pizza is prepared according to a several-hundred-years old recipe, with Italian 00 flour. No wonder that it’s not easy to get a table at Nolio (especially on weekends). PSST! Some of the Italian products imported by the owners may be purchased to go in Nolio Deli mini-delicatessen.
