Nolio is located in a tenement house in the very heart of Kazimierz. The simple and minimalist interior of this restaurant looks nothing like a trattoria – it’s dominated by black colour tempered by wooden elements. Don’t let it deceive you, though. The menu abounds with Italian delicacies. A large part of the ingredients is imported from Italy: olive comes from the Olio Anfosso farm, Sam Marzano tomatoes from the foothills of Vesuvius and pistachios from Bronte. Their delicious pastas are made on-site and Neapolitan pizza is prepared according to a several-hundred-years old recipe, with Italian 00 flour. No wonder it’s not easy to get a table at Nolio (especially on weekends). PSST! It is also worth visiting their pizzeria – N’Pizza opened in Rajska Street, where there’s no shortage of pizza and prosecco.
