Close your eyes and you’ll no longer feel like you’re in Poznań’s Sołacz neighbourhood, but in the French capital instead. Petit Paris is a bistro, bakery and a coffeehouse all in one. The interior is very functional, with fresh flowers in transparent vases being the only decoration. The colour palette is limited to the light wood of the tables, white walls, with parts painted in chalkboard featuring the menu. This is a great place for breakfast, be it sweet or savoury, served with freshly baked home-made bread (they make breads, buns, croissants and brioches) and top notch coffee (classic and alternative brews). Their lunch menu also merits a visit. It features some staples found in any respectable Parisian bistro, such as soup, quiche or croque, as well as particularly delicious Breton crêpes with a variety of fillings. Petit Paris is also a place to enjoy a glass of fine wine, which will pair nicely with a platter of French cheeses or cold cuts, or the ‘Plate of Provence’ with olives and tapenade. During summer and fall their garden shaded by old trees is particularly inviting and encourages celebrating a lazy morning.
