For over a hundred and twenty-five years now generations of chefs have been feeding hungry guests coming to the restaurant Pod Aniołami. In the olden days the place played host to royal dignitaries, invited by the burgrave Howel, while nowadays it is open to everyone, especially if they happen to be fans of roasted meats. The restaurant, located in a 13th century tenement house with a gorgeous patio, is famous for its old Polish dishes and its specialty is marinated, spit-roasted meat, made in a beech wood-fired oven. And considering that meats go well washed down with a proper beverage, you’ll find the contents of their cellar to your satisfaction as well. Their selection encompasses one hundred and twenty carefully chosen labels, including Polish ones. PSST! On special request their cooks can decorate your meat with flakes of gold!
