This family restaurant with a heritage of over twenty years is a charming reflection of Kraków’s bourgeois style. The five rooms located in a beautiful tenement house, owe their atmosphere to antique furniture, carefully selected art pieces and carpets. The menu offers dishes of local Kraków cuisine and those inspired by European flavours. The Kraków-style maczanka (maczanka po krakowsku), żurek, lamb or boiled beef in horseradish sauce. Each dish is served with eye-pleasing simplicity and elegance – as if you were enjoying a Sunday at your fancy aunt’s place. What’s interesting is that the menu also features an uncommonly wide assortment of gluten-free options, all skilfully made and delicious. PSST! One of their rooms is a smoking area – also a rarity these days.
