On the outskirts of Kraków’s Zwierzyniec, far away from the noisy Old Town, is a small but pleasant restaurant called Portobello. The recent renovation left the interior even more resembling that of an Italian trattoria. Time slows down here, rendering our everyday problems unimportant. The menu features pizza and classic Italian bread baked on premises, pastas – also made from scratch and served in a multitude of ways – as well as seafood dishes, roasted fish and meats. Their sweets are extremely popular too. Should you want to buy anything to go – pay a visit to the restaurant’s delicatessen. PSST! In the nearby Decius Park you’ll find Bronisław Chromy's Gallery of Sculpture. It’s worth visiting!
