At an idyllic location, at the end of Maribor’s Mestni park, next to the walkways of three ponds, stands the oldest restaurant in the city with a 300-year-old tradition. The owners switched from time to time, but the traditional offer stayed. They make Slovene food with a hint of modernity for friendly prices (we paid 33 euros for three plates). Every weekend, they make a delicious veal leg. And who couldn’t resist the heavenly smells of their homemade beef or mushroom soup?
