Until recently Kraków had only one place where you’d go to eat ribs – the one in Kazimierz. And then there were two, because the Rzeźnia restaurant expanded to a second location, at the Dominican Square. Both locations offer salads, shrimps, burgers or even steaks. But let’s not kid ourselves, it’s the ribs that the masses crave! They come in several sizes, starting with the smallest “lil’ ribby” („żebrunio”), followed by: “righteous” („słuszny”), “massive” (“na grubo”) and “giant” („gigant”). That last one is an over two kilogram serving for real barbarians, making lil’ribby seem like child’s play. Add to that sauces, fried potatoes and, obviously, coleslaw, as well as pitchers of wine or mighty tankards of beer! PSST! Don’t fret about your attire – you’ll get a bib before the food comes!
