This restaurant paying tribute to Silesian culinary traditions is located in Katowice’s Nikiszowiec, a neighbourhood recognised as a historic landmark. Everything about Prohibicja is deeply-rooted in the region. It was founded in a beautifully restored tenement house. It’s elegant and – thanks to impressive large windows – also spacious and bright. It’s a restaurant, a club and a scene in one. It hosts small concerts, among other events. Despite its contemporary design, it still evokes a homely atmosphere and a 1920s vibe. The plates are ruled by local delicacies with a slightly modern twist. Their Silesian maszkety (sweets) are phenomenally beautiful and out-of-this-world delicious! PSST! Six rooms of different sizes create a space for organising a party for even two hundred guests.
