The first non-Warsaw branch of the iconic Mielżyński wine bar is located amongst other culinary concepts in the impressively restored Stare Koszary (old military barracks). The concept bears a strong resemblance to its Warsaw-based sisters: a loft-like interior, which is part wine stor¬age and part bistro, open kitchen with simple and often changing dishes, friendly staff, and lots and lots of wine. In the summer, long tables are placed outside, tremendously encouraging long feasts. The place offers a wide selection of alcoholic beverages served by the glass, as well as sal¬ads, cold cuts and cheese platters, filling risottos, soups and several sea¬sonal dishes to match them. You’ll find the menu written in chalk over the kitchen. PSST! All wines and many “non-wine” delicacies may be purchased to go.
