Although located in Kraków’s Kazimierz district, this restaurant will take you straight to Paris – to one of its tiny bistros hidden in courtyards. A small space on the ground floor, with a lamp in the middle, several small tables and an impressive photograph wall mural presenting the Eiffel Tower. In the basement, where a spiral wooden staircase leads, there are two more rooms and a charming niche in the wall which fits one table – perfect for an intimate meeting. The menu includes mostly French classics – onion soup, fluffy soufflés, potato casseroles, crispy tarts and boeuf bourguignon. Everything is made using high-quality ingredients and prepared and served with great attention to detail. Very affordable prices! PSST! If you’re thirsty, try their refreshing lemonades (a decent selection of flavours) or excellent Smykan cider.
